NEW BLOG!

Thanks to everyone who has been keeping up with my blog posts! I know some of you are dedicated readers and I haven't posted anything since JANUARY! Yikes! However, I am proud to announce that I have a new blog and website that I have been pouring countless hours over. My main website address is still the same just a new design. The address is http://www.lorilinephotography.com

Reminiscing . . .

I've been cleaning my office and organizing SO much stuff. As I prepare to launch the new website, I came across this picture of Michael and Morgan that I never posted to the blog. I LOVE this picture. It was taken at the Biltmore Estate :)

Mrs. Gonzalez: Boudoir Shoot

Ok ladies! Get motivated! This is a wife and mother of two! Seriously, if I look this good after having children, I will be thanking my lucky stars! This girl is gorgeous and reminds me a lot of the actress Rose McGowan.  Christen from Elea Blake Cosmetics did all the make-up for this shoot and I cannot praise the team over there enough! And just as a reminder, anyone who sits for a boudoir between January 2nd through 12th will receive $50 off the session price.  Anyway here are a few of my favorites from this session:

Oh my goodness! Probably my MOST fav!

Cody and Heather: Married! - Knoxville Wedding Photographer

Last month Cody and Heather got hitched! Yes, I said hitched.  It was a beautiful fall day in November at Twin Cedar Farms! I think it was around 75 degrees.  Seriously, who could ask for better weather? The wedding party was such a fun crowd as well! The groomsmen seemed well prepared to tell me the types of shots they'd like together :) They'd say, "Hey! Can we get one like this?" and then would demonstrate their idea.  LOL!  And as you will see, their personalities really shine in their pictures :) When it came reception time, I barely knew any of the songs because they were mostly country.  I was secretly hoping that they'd play "Achy Breaky Heart."  I know that one! And on a side note, I just realized that Miley Cyrus' dad is the one who sings that song! CRAZY!  I'm going to keep this brief as I have quite a few pictures to blog and a lovely SLIDESHOW.  Here are some of my favorites:

Shoes :)

Some dress details . . .

I love this next picture! It looks so Hollywood! Aren't Heather's eyelashes fabulous?!

Tying up the dress . . .

Those are REAL eyelashes too!

Cody gave Heather a pair of cowgirl boots to wear the day of their wedding!  It took a team effort to get those puppies on! LOL!

Cody.  Cool as a cucumber and ready to get the party started :)

I like how this picture looks similar to Heather's mirror shot.

The beautiful bride!

Cody had a BAD case of the giggles! LOL!

Bridesmaids' flowers.  GORGEOUS!

Heather and her mother rode in on a horse drawn carriage to the ceremony to Bryan Adams' "(Everything I do) I do it for You."  It was beautiful and touching.

Since Heather's father has passed, her mother walked her down the aisle.  My mom has always said that when your daughter gets married it's like re-living your own romance.  I think this picture says it all.  So alike :)

The most serious Cody looked all day.

Dee giving Cody the "take care of my daughter" look.  Adore it.

Heather's father was there in spirit.

Now this little guy was a hoot! He was just clomping around the gazebo with his cowboy boots.  I think this is the moment he realizes that maybe he's not supposed to be up there.  Do note the flower girl (far left) discreetly trying to tell him to "Get down."
Photobucket

Don't worry little man . . . not everyone gets the memo.  LOL!

Post-ceremony ride! Love this picture!

The light was golden!

Smells purty as a flower don't she, Cody? haha!

Such a fun group!

This makes it in the TOP 5 of favorite groomsmen shots!

And now for a moment from West Side Story.  hahaha!

Love fun guests!

Krista and Jason: Engaged! - Chattanooga Wedding Photographer

So . . . I am probably going to keep this blog post short.  I am exhausted dudes.  I'm keeping in good spirits though.  It's like what Matt Nathanson says in one of his songs . . . "push me til I have to fly."  I guess it's hard growing wings.

Anyway, I was pleased as punch to find out that Krista is marrying my cat's brother!  Say what?! Some of you might need a little background story.  I went to GPS 7th through 12th grade in Chattanooga.  It's an all girls preparatory school.  At GPS every 7th grader is matched up with a senior.  These seniors kind of become our mentors and we exchange gifts over the course of the year.  The seniors are called "cats" and seventh graders "rats."  GPS even has a "Cat/Rat Parade." As a rat, my cats (I actually had two) dressed me up as an army soldier and I had to army crawl across the gymnasium floor in front of the whole student body.  When I was a cat, I dressed my rat Alex up as Bullwinkle!  I made the moose head from SCRATCH! Here's a lovely visual:

When Krista initially called me up to discuss wedding photography packages, she had no idea who I was.  As I was writing down some information, I asked for her fiance's name.  She said, "Jason Geherlein but I'll probably have to spell his last name."  "No need," I said, "I already know how to spell it."  Suddenly, it dawned on me that this could be a relative of my cat's.  AND, indeed it was.  It was her brother! AND what's even cooler is that Krista and Jason will be getting married at Laurelwood farms on top of signal mountain this spring where my husband and I married!  As you can guess, I'm excited about shooting their wedding for multiple reasons! Here are some of my favorites from their e-session.  I will leave my commentary to a minimum tonight but I still love them just the same!

Boone came along as well :) He'll be the ring-bearer for the wedding!
